PURPOSE:To provide an ink sheet useful for printers, facsimile or the like with a reduction in the required recording time maintaining a high contrast by forming specified kinds of ink layers of yellow, cyan and magenta sequentially on a base film. CONSTITUTION:A base film (e.g. paper and polyester film) 1 is coated with an yellow ink layer 20 in one kind of concentration, more than one kind of magenta ink layers 121 and 122 different in the concentration and cyan ink layers 131 and 132 likewise and preferably one kind of black ink layer 21 and a tip mark 15 and a color sequence mark 16 are added thereto to form an ink sheet 22. EFFECT:This reduces the kind of the yellow, black ink layers to one from two in the past thereby lessening the frequency of recording required for the full color recording.
