WORKING METHOD IN CASE OF WORKING ODD TEETH BY ROTO-FLO THREAD ROLLING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To make a material to be cut contact simultaneously, and to roll an exact tooth form having no center shift by forming the first tooth form of the side contacting late to the material to be cut, to a wide deformed tooth form, in case of working odd teeth by a pair of rack dies. CONSTITUTION:The first tooth form 5a of a rack die 2 whose tooth form 3 contacts late to a material to be cut 1 is formed to a wide deformed tooth form, so that the material 1 to be cut contacts simultaneously to the tooth form 3 of a pair of rack dies 2. An exact tooth form is rolled by eliminating a bend, a shift and an overlap of the tooth form due to an unequal touch of the material to be cut in case of working odd teeth. In this regard, in case of even tooth forms, a method for removing a fitting chip 6 is also available.
