PURPOSE:To attain the conservation of energy and to obtain a high degree denitrification ratio by assembling the basis of a recirculation denitrification method in an oxidation ditch method to simplify a process and to also dispense with a recirculation pump. CONSTITUTION:A denitrification part 4 is provided to the oxygen free zone formed to the corner part of the water channel in a recirculation aeration tank 1 or the lateral side of the straight line part thereof. A necessary amount of a nitration solution is flowed into the aeration tank 1 by controlling an inflow amount control apparatus, which has a structure for controlling a flow amount by changing a distribution plate 3, provided to the inflow part of the denitrification part 4 and the same amount of the solution mixture of activated sludge and the nitration solution is sent out to the water channel. As a result, a process becomes simple and a recirculation pump. is dispensed with to attain the conservation of energy while high degree denitrification can be obtained.
