MANUFACTURE OF MUROO VOLCANIC ROCK CONTAINING ABUNDANT MINERAL RELATING TO DRINKING WATER

摘要

PURPOSE:To remove or reduce harmful substances in water such as city water and simultaneously to elute minerals into water by using welded tuff belonging to rhyolites among MUROO (name of volcano in Japan) volcanic rocks as a filter medium. CONSTITUTION:Attention is paid to welded tuff belonging to rhyolites among MUROO volcanic rocks which can be used as a filter medium of a filter for improving the quality of water, and the welded tuff is used for the elution of minerals and the removal by adsorption of organic substances and miscellaneous bacteria. Namely, the welded tuffs contg. rich polyelemental minerals contg. silicon, manganese, etc. are thrown into or immersed in water in an appropriate amt. After a while the water can be drunk, and activated water which tastes like a spring flowing out from rocks into a mountain stream, can be obtained.
