PURPOSE:To prevent corrosion of a rotor and casing for longer lives thereof by removing deposits on the surface of a screw rotor through spray injection to be blown from a jet nozzle provided near an inlet port when the depostis amount to a certain limit while in operation. CONSTITUTION:A jet nozzle 15 is installed with its nozzle orifice 16 facing upward piercing the wall of a suction casing 8 near an inlet port 6 of the casing. Fluid is atomized and dispersed evenly by being sprayed to the reverse direction against flow of gas A and fed into a rotor chambers 2, 3. Thus, accumulation of impurities is prevented from sticking on rotor surfaces 4, 5 or the inside of the casing 8 by keeping large liquid particles away from clashing against the rotors 4, 5. Whether or not the amount of deposits reaches a set limit is to be judged, for instance, by continuous measurement of vibrations with a vibration detector fixed on rotor shafts 10, 11.
