METHOD AND DEVICE FOR REMELTING TREATMENT OF SHAFT MEMBER

PURPOSE:To perform efficiently and rationally remelting treatment by revolving a cam shaft, etc., moving a torch in the axial direction thereof and remelting the outside surface of each cam part. CONSTITUTION:A cam shaft having cam parts 53a, b... which are spaced in the axial direction and are plural parts to be treated is revolved by a motor 14 and a treating torch 22 is positioned to face the 1st cam part 53a at the extreme end part of th cam shaft. The 1st cam part 53a is thereupon remelted by the torch 22. The torch 22 is then moved to face the 2nd cam part 53b and the 2nd cam part 53b is remelted. The remelting treatment of the entire cam part is thus executed.
