PURPOSE:To provide the titled powder having high recrystallization temperature, usable for a long time at a high temperature, and usable even as the sintering board for uranium fuel, by compounding MoO2 with CaO in addition to Al2O3, K2O and SiO2. CONSTITUTION:The objective doped molybdenum powder is composed of (in terms of oxide) 0.005-0.01wt% Al2O3, 0.15-0.40% K2O, 0.20-0.50% SiO2, 0.005-0.01% CaO and remaining part of MoO2. Such a kind of doped molybdenum powder is used as a sintering board, etc. in the form of a board by powder metallurgy, however, it has been impossible to use the conventional board doped with Al2O3, K2O and SiO2 at =1,000 deg.C for a long period. The powder doped further with CaO has higher recrystallization temperature than the conventional molybdenum material by 300 deg.C, and remarkably improved high-temperature deformation resistance, and is usable even as the sintering board for uranium fuel for nuclear power plant.
