PURPOSE:To permit the efficient deep-sea fishery by mooring, on the sea, a semisubmersible floating body equipped with residence facilities, working facilities and storage facilities for fishing products, mooring facilities, fishing-boat accommodating facilities, and communication equipment, and utilizing said floating body as a deep-sea fishery base. CONSTITUTION:Into a semisubmersible floating body 1 constituted of an upper hull 2, lower hull 3, and a plurality of supporting stays 4, residence facilities 16, working facilities 17 and storage facilities 18 for fishery products, mooring equipment 31 and 33, fishing-boat accommodating equipment 25, and communication equipment are arranged. The semisubmersible floating body 1 is moored on the sea and utilized as a deep-sea fishery base. The fishing boat can go fishing, utilizing the base as base point, and even if typhoon generates, fishing boats can be accommodated into the accommodating equipment on the base, and the necessity of returning to a fishing port is eliminated, and the efficient deep-sea fishery is permitted.
