SELF-EXCITED OSCILLATION TYPE HIGH VOLTAGE SWITCHING POWER SOURCE

PURPOSE:To reduce a turning ON loss by interrupting a feedback current to a switching transistor by a switch circuit for the prescribed time, and delaying the turning ON timing of the transistor. CONSTITUTION:A switching transformer 2 has an input winding 21, a bias winding 22 and a high voltage output winding 23. A current induced in the winding 22 is fed back through a regulating resistor 6, a capacitor 7 and a transistor 9 to the base of a switching transistor 3. The feedback current is interrupted by the transistor 9 for the prescribed time to delay the turning ON timing of the transistor 3.
