DEVICE FOR CHANGING DIAMETER OF REINFORCEMENT CAGE WITH REINFORCEMENT CAGE BRAIDING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To provide a titled device which changes continuously the diameter of an axial reinforcement group in braiding of a reinforcement cage in which spiral reinforcement is wound on the outside of the axial reinforcement group supported by each electrode mounting base and is made electrical contact therewith by transferring cooperatively the mounting bases by means of an annular gear and a pinion rack mechanism. CONSTITUTION:Supporting frames 22 for respective electrode mounting bases 24 supporting an axial reinforcement group 36 are made movable by means of an annular internal gear 31 supported by guide rollers 30 of a frame 2 and a pinion 33 and a rack gear 34 interlocked thereto. When a sector gear 44 rotated by a spur gear 43 turns the gear 31, the group 36 of each base 24 is radially moved and the diameter of said group is thus changed. A counter electrode 9 follows up the fluctuation in the diameter of the group 36 according to the vertical movement of a holder 8 by the turning of bevel gears 12, 13 rotated by a difference in the revolutions of motors 45, 46.
