PURPOSE:To improve the working property of a pressing machine of unrefined Japanese rice wine (SAKE) by permitting backward and forward movement of supporting members hanged down before and behind a running frame by a first driving means and providing a stripping device to the supporting member movably backward and forward by a second driving means. CONSTITUTION:After forwarding supporting members 19, 19' to a position until the top ends of scrapers 29, 29' confront a frame of a pressing plate 3, the frame of the pressing plate 3 is held between the top end of the scraper by a small cylinder 31. Then, the top end of the scraper is moved to the middle position to the center of the pressing plte, then holding members 24, 24' are forwarded by cylinders 23, 23' to the center of the pressing plate. Extension of the cylinder is finished when the top end of the scraper reaches the center of the pressing plate, then the cylinder and the small cylinder begin to contract, and the scraper is opened and the stripping device 22, 22' move back to the first retracted position. After retraction is finished, the pressing plate having finished the stripping work is moved to a transferred pressing plate side.
