MODIFIED ANTIGEN, ITS PREPARATION AND PREVENTIVE AND REMEDY FOR ALLERGIC DISEASE CONTAINING THE SAME

PURPOSE:To provide a modified antigen composed of a polymer of an aspartic acid derivative bonded chemically to an antigen causing allergic diseases, and useful as a preventive and remedy for allergic diseases. CONSTITUTION:The compound of formula I (R1 is hydroxyalkyl; R2 is aminoalkyl; R is R1 or R2; n and n' are number of residues bonded to beta-position; m and m' are number of residues bonded to alpha-position; n+n'+m+m' is 6-3,000; n'+m' is 0-1,500) is bonded to an antigen by covalent bond directly or indirectly with 2,4,6-trichloro-S-triazine, 2,4-dichloro-6-methoxy-S-triazine, etc. The compound of formula I can be prepared by reacting the anhydropolyaspartic acid of formula II with the compound of formula NH2-R1 and NH2-R2. The antigen is e.g. hapten, respiratory antigen, alimentary antigen, enzymatic preparation, biological preparation, product from genetic operation, etc.
