PURPOSE:To provide a titled mechanism which rotates revolving rolls around the axial lines of the rolls while connecting the same in a way to permit swiveling back and forth from the air into the inside of water in an immersion hardening device for a steel pipe which holds the heated steel pipes with the revolving rolls and retaining rolls, and lowers and immerses the pipe into the water while rotating the pipe in the air. CONSTITUTION:Revolving rolls 9 are rotated around the axial centers thereof with a driving shaft 30, the gear transmission mechanism in a transmission gear box 24, inclined connecting rods 23, 23, and roll shafts 9a, 9a by the rotation of a driving motor 31.
