METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR STABILIZATION OF SHALLOW LAYER OF SUPERSOFT GROUND

PURPOSE:To continuously stabilize supersoft ground with the same accuracy by a method in which a powdery solidifying agent is continuously supplied onto the surface layer by a pneumatic transportation, and the solidifying agent and the soil of surface layer are mixed with stirring to a given depth. CONSTITUTION:A controller 12 is operated, and a generator 10, a compressor 9, and a powdery solidifying agent pneumatic transporter 7 are actuated. Compressed air is sent through a hose 8 to the metering supplier of the transporter 7, and cement 47 is supplied through a hose 46 into the hopper 26 of a working device 14. The working device 14 is operated and run toward the direction of arrow on a supersoft ground 1, whereupon cement 47 is spread over the surface layer 2 of the ground 1 and at the same time the cement 47 and the soil 2 of surface layer are mixed with stirring by a stirring mixer 18 and distributing plates 21 are distributed with a given width.
