CATALYST FOR REMOVING OXYGEN IN UNSATURATED HYDROCARBON CONTAINING GAS

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a catalyst having excellent capacity in a small using amount, as the catalyst for removing oxygen in an unsaturated hydrocarbon containing gas, by distributing silver only in the surface layer of a carrier. CONSTITUTION:As the catalyst for selectively removing oxygen from a gas containing an unsaturated hydrocarbon such as olefine or the like, a catalyst having silver distriubted only in the surface layer of a carrier thereof such as alumina or silica-alumina in a concentrated manner is used. Thus obtained catalyst can reduce a using amount of an expensive silver compound as well as maintains excellent catalytic capacity.
