AUTOMATIC COAL FEEDER FOR COAL-FEEDING CAR

PURPOSE:To ensure quick feeding of a smoothly balanced quantity of coal from each coal feeder, by controlling the action of a plurality of coal feeders by means of a coal quantity deviation comparator, a feed coal flow rate detector and a setting device. CONSTITUTION:Each feed coal hopper 8 receives coal 24 from a coal bin to a limited upper level, travels and stops on a coke over 7. Upon starting a table feeder 9, it is possible to feed the feed coal 24 in the hopper 8 through a feeding hood 10 and a feeding passage 22 to the coke oven 7. Then a wt. signal outputted from each weighing device is compared and judged by a feed coal quantity deviation comparator. When deviation exceeds a set value, a deviation signal is outputted to control speed of the table feeder 9 in the hopper 8 delayed or advanced in feeding.
