Mould release agent (I), to be spread over a mould surface before contact with a concrete mixt., comprises mainly (i) a naphthenic base oil, (ii) non-aromatic white spirits and (iii) a surfactant. Pref. further constituents are (iv) organic acids and (v) polyvinyl alcohol.
