A control-circuit is provided for switching on and off mains-powered equipment by means of a programmable time switch. The unit can be housed in a mains-secket wall-cavity. - Buttons on a central panel allow time for switching an and off to be set according to a built in electronic timer display. A further button allows the program to be reset. The unit incorporates acoustic or infra-red program to be reset. These can be used to trigger the mains switch.
