Easily and quickly water soluble pharmaceutical prepns. are obtd. from pharmaceutical cpds. contg. a basic nitrogen atom, which by themselves dissolve only slowly and with difficulty in water, by preparing an acidified aq. soln. of the basic cpds. with an excess of an easily soluble adjuvant and a pharmaceutically acceptable acid at a pH of 1-2, spray drying the acid soln. and converting the resulting mixt. of the acid addition salt and the easily soluble adjuvant into solid pharmaceutical prods.. Most of the active ingredient in the prods. dissolves in water within 2-5 minutes.
