These anthracyclinones are 3,13-O-isopropylideneanthracyclinones which have the following formula: IMAGE in which R1, R2 and R3 represent an OH group or a hydrogen atom, and are used for the preparation of anthracyclines which can be used as pharmaceutical compounds.
