Laying gravel tennis court by removing top soil - levelling, trenching, laying filter cloth, placing drains, laying foundation and gravel

Process comprises revolving a 5-15 (10) cm thick layer of top soil from the underground and levelling the surface after which drainage trenches (3), pref. 15 cm deep and 20 cm wide, are cut in this surface. A filter cloth, pref. plastics sheeting, is laid on the surface and in the trenches and a drainage tube, pref. a corrugated plastics tube, is laid and anchored in each trench. A 5-15 (10) cm thick foundation consisting of cement-bonded lava is placed on the cloth and levelled and, after setting, a 1-2 (1.5) cm thick court surface is applied consisting of gravel chips of 0.7-1.2 mm grain size bonded with coloured resin.
