The foundation pile uses a hollow auger. When the auger is withdrawn mortar is supplied via a central hollow core. After the auger has reached the required depth, but before withdrawal, oil probe operations are carried out of soil below the auger. The auger consists of a cylinder jacket (1) around which fits a helical (2). The core of jacket (1) is a tube (3) with top mounted coupling (4) for mortar supply and bottom connection to sleeve (5). The tube is centrallised in the jacket by radial pins (8). A probe rod (10) fits in the space (9) between the jacket and the tube. A cone (13) fitted at the bottom of the probe rod is guided in a bush (14).
