The resilient pad is intended for securing on the accelerator pedal of a motor vehicle to minimise transmission of vibration from the foot to the pedal and thus reduce fuel consumption. The pad measures 110 x 55 mm and is around 20 mm thick. It consists of four layers including 17 mm thick foam plastic, e.g. polyester or polyurethane, and a 1 mm thick self-adhesive layer for securing the pad on the pedal.
