To safeguard against theft a bicycle guard clamp is provided with a locking member which comprises a frame with a channel-like receiving element for receiving a peripheral part of a front wheel rim. The other end of the bracket is located in the interior of the frame and is provided with a locking member. The wheel is thus secured against theft at three different points. These points can be located both on the ground and on an upright wall.
