Mortar for interior plastering comprises (by vol. parts): 20 pearlite grains of 1mm. size, up to 0.1 of a 1:1 by vol. soln. of Cu naphthenate in white spirit, 0.1-0.2 Ca stearate powder, up to 1 white spirit, 5 lime paste, 2-2.5 Portland cement and 5 water. Similar compsn. for exterior application comprises: 17 pearlite grains of 1 mm size, 0.3-0.4 Ca stearate, up to 0.8 Cu naphthenate, up to 1 white spirit, 5 lime paste, 3 cement and 5 water. Compsns. combine anti-condensate, anti-moisture, heat-insulating and biocidal properties and are low-cost.
