The equipment applies coating of emulsion to flat items and particularly silk screens. It comprises a structure, on whose uprights are movable emulsion distributor works, and a frame support for the silk screens, capable of turning about one of its central axes. Carriers move the support in relation to the distributor, so as to bring the silk screen into contact with it, and means are provided for moving the distributor along the screen. The distributor can have two trucks each sliding on a front upright and coupled by a tube hinging on both, and to which a distribution plate is fixed. Systems are provided on the trucks to incline the tube in relation to them.
