Synthetic resin products, reinforced with unidirectional fibres, are produced by arranging the fibres accordingly and holding them under tension during the cure. The process is carried out e.g. with preimpregnated unidirectionally fibrous material wound round a mandrel with the fibres parallel to the mandrel. High strength products because fibres are not deformed by the shrinkage of the resin during its cure.
