The middle section of the dielectric tube is surrounded by a housing which is freely rotatable. The tube has a two-part contact terminal for the circuit whose lead passes through the tube inside. The middle section of the tube has a second terminal for the circuit input whose lead also passes through the tube inside and extends to a plate surrounding this section and secured by a screw of the second terminal. The plate has two diametral support points and two longitudinal, axis-parallel guideways for an annular rocking lever and a vertical alider. The latter has lateral stops, which cooperate with bevelled pressure wings, symmetrically mounted on the rocking lever. The lever is flexibly prestressed against its seat, and the slider is flexibly prestressed against its over-centre guide plane. The prestressing is carried out by a tension spring.
