The concrete mixer vehicle has a mixer unit dicharging either via an adjustable sloping chute into a channel, or into the hopper of a concrete pump supplying an adjustable articulated discharge boom. The mixer unit (5) is so mounted on the vehicle chassis (1) that its inlet and outlet is at the forward end above the driver's cab (3). The concrete pump (10) for the boom and hopper is mounted in front of and below the cab. The controls can be hydraulic and centralised in the cab within the reach of the driver, while the power unit is mounted at the rear end of the chassis.
