This installation is notable in that the terminals of the computer are disposed in booths 1 situated in public places and are combined with at least one identification device 6 or 7 which, when triggered by validating an authorised element introduced in the form of a coin, a token or a magnetic card inserted into the said device by the user of the terminal, secures temporary functioning of the terminal combined therewith. This booth 1 is divided into two compartments 1a and 1b by a vertical divider 2 whose front face 2a comprising the screen 3 and the console 4 of the terminal and the inlet orifices 5a, 5b and 5c for the devices 6 and 7, defines the compartment 1a whose access door 1'a is available to users of the terminal and whose rear face 2b which comprises the components required for operating the units of the front face 1a, defines the compartment 1b whose door 1'b is reserved only for a person repairing the installation assembly.
