The radially flexible fieldcontrol means of the invention includes severalstructural variations of the inner conductor, whereincareful controlling of the length to depth of surfacedepressions produce regions of reduced electric field.Several embodiments of the invention combine a flexibleconnector that at the predetermined location along theinner conductor where the surface depressions thatcontrol the reduced electric field are located.
