ABSTRACTA method and a device to clean up oil spills or similar substances. Sor-bent material for oil or similar products is blown out by means of an air currenton to the oil via a spreading duct through a spreading opening. The sorbentmaterial is brought to sorb the oil and oil and sorbent material is sucked up bymeans of a suction opening via a suction duct to a receptacle.
