Method for the production of insulating plaster facades using rigid polystyrene sheets, which have an adhesive granular filler layer on their outerside, whereby a plaster layer is applied to this adhesive layer, characterized by the fact, that mature low shrink rigid polystyrene sheets are used, whose adhesive layer displays a thickness of 0.5 to 5 mm, preferably 0.5 to 2 mm, and in which granular agents of a particle size of up to 5 mm, preferably 1 to 2 mm, are placed, that a wire lath is placed on top of the layed rigid polystyrene sheeting and, that this wire lath is bedded by hand or machine into the rendering which contains no platic.
