The prefabricated vertical one-piece element (1) made of reinforced concrete and being particularly designed for the construction of pillars for building skeletons, consists of four posts (2) that are located at the angles of a square, and that are interconnected at a certain level, preferably about midway of their height, by horizontal crosspieces (3) extending along the sides of the square, and which may be either straight or arched pieces. Holes (4, 5) are provided in the crosspieces (3) for passing pipes or for anchoring horizontal beams and/or floors.
