A double-faced elastic woven fabric comprising a warp of elastic yarns (3), binder yarns or synthetic ground yarns (4, 5) intended to ensure bonding of the picks (2) and external yarns (6) intended to impart a certain appearance to one of the faces of the fabric, characterized in that the said binder or ground yarns (4, 5) are yarns made stretchable by any known process and particularly by crimping.
