In a motion work in which the centre wheel (3) is on the same spindle as the setting wheel (4) and the two-part adjustment wheel (4.1/3.8), the centre wheel (3) has plates (3.5-7) in the gap between the spokes. These plates can be pressed by means of the second adjustment wheel half (3.8) and the slide (7) onto the movement blank (8), as a result of which the recoil is deflected from the drive to the movement blank (8) when setting in steps. The gear play is reduced on direct engagement of a large setting wheel (4) in a large minute pinion (5). On assembling the second adjustment wheel half (3.8) with the plates (3.5-7) of the minute pinion (3) and moving the friction clutch into the region of the fourth-wheel pinion (1), the positive coordination of all the hands (1.2, 5.2, 6.2) and the correction of the second hand (1.2) is made possible.
