the invention is directed to a process for the immunoassay of a substance such as an antigen, hapten or an antibody.;the process includes the following steps:(1) contacting a sample containing the substance to be measured with a specific enzyme-linked immunosorbent reagent marked active substance to be determined,the amount of reagent being such that the immune active substance balance is in excess of the reagent in the immune active; (2) contacting at least a portion of the reaction mediumthus obtained with a solid phase immunoassay reagent which is specific for the active substance to be determined; (3) separating the reaction mixture of the solid phase; and to determine the content of re.active in the immune active solid phase.;this applies in particular to the determination of lipoproteins and, in this case, we use an antibody labeled by an enzyme such as horseradish peroxidase.we can also determine the fetal protein using a monoclonal antibody.
