Two-layer hollow elements are produced by injection molding two-layer preform stretched and inflated to the hollow elements. A first hollow mold for the inner, is arranged outside the transfer range of the neck molds. An upper lifting mechanism transfers the injection mandrels from the first to the second hollow mold by a turntable to which the mandrels are fixed. The fixed hollow mold is closed by the base cylinder of its mandrel.
