End formwork for site concrete support, applied between tubbings and rock or earth, is incorporated in a machine for driving forward tunnels, underground galleries or similar. There is a shield sheath supported with forwarding presses on the support frame, and a follow-up ring with follow-up ring presses on the frame and/or shield sheath. The end formwork unit is fastened to a prolonged follow-up ring tail. This is fitted with a leaf spring sealing system fitting close against the rock or earth. On the other side the formwork unit has a soft sealing ring running round it and fitting against the outside sheath of the tubbings. The leaf spring sealing can be made up from a number of segments, overlapping in the peripheral direction.
