A unitary hinged box-type container (10) for enclosing contents such as flexible disk packages (39) including complementary top and bottom portions (11 and 12), connected by an integral intermediate hinge (16), which mate together to form an enclosed box in the closed position. The container further includes an open position locking device (44) for securing the container in an open position with the top portion rotated approximately 270 DEG about the hinge from the closed position.
