A cell-culture bed of which at least the surface is composed of a copolymer of styrene and a sulphonated styrene or is composed of a sulphonated polystyrene or a mixture thereof shows high cell adhesion and enables cells to be cultured with a high degree of efficiency and a good culture yield.
