Biopsy kit with an endoscopic device and an ultrasonic scanning head

An endoscope (17) known per se having a biopsy working part (25) on the distal end is combined with an ultrasonic scanning head (1) to form a biopsy kit. The ultrasonic scanning head (1) has a light outlet opening (7, 7a) the principal radiation direction (8, 8a) of which is preferably parallel to the emitted sound waves. The endoscope (17) can be used to determine the light emerging from the light outlet opening (7, 7a) even when tissue is present between the two devices. Location of the ultrasonic scanning head (1) is possible in this way. IMAGE
