The invention relates to an additional electronic keyboard (1) whose keys are moved by a magnetic tape cassette running in a control device (4), whereupon the moved keys of the additional keyboard (1) transmit their movement mechanically via cams (5) to a piano-keyboard instrument or organ (3) positioned underneath. Similarly controlled by the magnetic tape cassette in the control device (4), the transparent upper side of the keys of the additional keyboard (1) is illuminated in different colours, thus indicating to the player the fingering which is to be selected. The magnetic tape in the control device (4) can be played at different, continuously variable speeds by the timer (7) without affecting tonal quality or pitch. The switching pulses for the right hand only (14) or left hand only (15) can be coupled into the additional keyboard (1) by means of switches. IMAGE
