Storage-stable crystallite suspensions of aromatic polyesters in polyhydroxyl compounds, process for their preparation, and their use for the preparation of polyurethane plastics or polyisocyanurate plastics containing polyurethane groups

Storage-stable crystallite suspensions which contain a) from 5 to 35% by weight of a polyester prepared from isophthalic acid, terephthalic acid or mixtures of terephthalic acid and aromatic and/or aliphatic dicarboxylic acids, and alcohols having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, having a melt viscosity at 150 DEG C of from 15 to 3000 mPas, as the disperse phase, b) from 65 to 95% by weight of a polyhydroxyl compound having a melting point of below 30 DEG C as the coherent phase, the % by weight data being based on the total weight of components (a) and (b) and c) from 0.2 to 7 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the crystallite suspension comprising components (a) and (b), of at least one aliphatic and/or cycloaliphatic amine, alkanolamine and/or product of the reaction of said amines and/or alkanolamines with components (a) and/or (b). The crystallite suspensions are suitable for the preparation of compact or cellular polyurethane plastics or polyisocyanurate plastics containing polyurethane groups, where the polyester (a) of the disperse phase is fully incorporated into the polyurethane skeleton.
