In a device for the one-sided transverse loading of roadway structures in underground operation with a tie rod which points in the longitudinal direction of the roadway and which, by means of at least one perforation passing through it, serves for connection to a tension means and as a clamping member for tightening a claw pair which has sections at the mutually facing engagement sides for a support profile, which sections can be restrained with the support profile, provision is made according to the invention for the tie rod to be a screw bolt, the thread section of which penetrates one of the two claws and is formed on the shank of a hook which forms the other claw and has the perforation in the shank extension, which perforation receives a joint pin which passes transversely through the hook plane and penetrates a chain connection member.
