P preparation of hydrated peroxide of uranium vi - purified from hydrated tetrafluoride of uranium. / p & & p & is digested tetrafluoride in the aqueous acid solution in the presence of a complexing agent of the fluorides; the aqueous uranium solution obtained at a ph of approximately 1 to 3, and the insoluble material is removed by filtration, is reacted with a peroxide, thus forming a precipitate of hydrated peroxide uranium - vi that is separated out. If any, may be subjected to digestion with this peroxide in aqueous medium, acid in the presence of a complexing agent of the fluorides, to adjust the ph of the solution to a value of about 1 to 3, and to precipitate the peroxide hydrated of uranium - vi by the addition of a peroxide.
