The child-proof screw-type bottle stopper is particularly of plastic, having a cap (2) on the screwed stopper (1) and with three narrow fingers, extending downwards and with threads in their faces towards the bottle neck. The fingers (3) extend through openings (4) in the stopper, and can slide in shafts formed in its wall (5) and in recesses in the screwed portion of the bottle neck. Movement of the fingers, and thus of the cap in relation to the stopper, can be caused by ramps (8) coming from the edge formed on the bottle neck.
