Columns of cups in a drink dispensing machine are stored side by side in a magazine. A guide chamber to guide the cups to a dispenser has a semi-circular cross section and is rotated by a motor and gear train mounted on the upper part of the cover. This guide has one position to permit entry of a column of cups from the magazine and a second position to permit their release to the dispenser. The column of cups is pushed into the chamber by a shutter moved by a strip spring wound on a drum attached to the cover. In the dispensing chamber the cups are moved to active positions by distributing screws rotated by a motor and gear train.
