The support insulator has one part of cylindrical elements while the other part includes rings with spacers and layers coaxial with the secondary as interlayers insulators. Their thickness increases in the direction towards the primary while the flat rings are set symmetrically in relation to the transformer axis and w.r.t. the plane passing through the centre of the secondary. The variable thickness of the spacers (4) provides uniform electrical strength for the h.v. winding (2). The h.v. end of windings (2) leads to the electrode (8) made as a revolution body held symmetrical w.r.t. the prim. (1) and secon. (2). The auxiliary coil (9) is magnetically coupled to windings (1,2) to ensure filament heating system (10) of the electron gun of the accelerator. All transformer parts except the primary (1) are held in the sealed housing (12) filled with oil, the second chamber bounded by electrode (8) and cable (11). Thermal dilations is compensated by bellows (15).
