Hot air drier for sand - has enclosure with base bed of porous material with buried pipes carrying hot air

The equipment is for drying divided solid material. It consists of an enclosure (1), at the base of which is a porous bed of diffusing material (5). In this are buried pipes (4) with apertures. At the top of the enclosure is a chimney, open to atmosphere. The pipes are fed with hot, slightly compressed, air. There are fillers for placing material to be dried into the enclosure, above the porous bed. The pipes can be differently sloped layers and the equipment is for drying sand.
